3rd- We watched a video about the six career paths. The video is extra-cool because it was made by DESE in Columbia! (And it's pretty funny :) )

4th- Filled out a career interest inventory to determine what kinds of things they might be interested in/willing to do at a job. Reviewed the six career paths and connected interests from the inventory to each path.
5th- Started using a program called Missouri Connections to find information about different careers. This lesson we took a "Reality Check" to determine what things we want/need to pay for when we grow up (housing, utilities, food, etc.). We talked about salary being the amount you make in a year and making job decisions based on how you want to live and your strengths and interests.
