Tattling, Reporting, how do I know when to tell?
Sick, Hurt, Breaking the law. Dangerous, I've tried to solve.
Tattling, Reporting, how do I know when to tell?
We read Tattlin' Madeline and talked about what she should have done instead of tattling to get along with others and solve her problems peacefully.
1st grade- We talked about why it is important to LISTEN! We talked about how adults let kids know they need to listen at Fairview and the steps for being a whole body listener. We learned my listening song. Then we talked about times it is hard to listen. We read I Just Don't Like the Sound of NO. We discussed how it is not okay to whine or argue with the adults in charge of us; we need to follow directions and can ask later if we don't like those directions.
2nd grade- We talked about listening and following directions. We talked about how adults let kids know they need to listen at Fairview and the steps for being a whole body listener. We reviewed my listening song. We talked about the consequences of not listening and following directions then read Today Was the Worst Day of My Life EVER! about a kiddo who doesn't listen and follow directions.
